This workshop demonstrated how to create on-line personalized maps of the local area. These maps invite us to discover an alternative portrait of Banff using locally sourced stories and texts tagged with GPS coordinates.
Workshop participants were asked to bring four items with them that reminded them of Banff. These could be something like a photograph of a friend or place, an image cut from a local paper, a keepsake, a small object or a drawing.
